Your Pet's Rescue Story
Merida was down at the shelter with a tumor the size of a baseball on her leg, and she didn't have a chance to get out of there. I tried to adopt her, but because she was "medical," they said she could only go to rescue. That's how I found TGPR- they helped me get my girl out of the shelter and home with me. She had a lot to go through with her surgery, so she knew what Leo was feeling when he came here to be our foster. Leo had some of the worst injuries you've ever seen- he was dragged by a truck and left for dead- he had to lose his leg because of it. Leo and Merida became so close; she treated him like her baby, and they were never far apart. She is the queen of the house and helps all the fosters feel love.
