Dog's Bio
Billie was The Animal Pad’s first medical miracle. After crossing the border into the US, Billie was immediately rushed to the ER, where the vet recommended she be euthanized. After seeing the video of Billie wagging her hairless tail for the entire ride to the vet, we knew she was ready to fight. Billie not only survived years of severe neglect, abuse, and malnourishment as a street dog, but also 18 rounds of chemo, 4 rounds of radiation, eye surgery, and major dental surgery as a TAP dog. She went from being a 37 pound hairless creature to a 70 pound beautiful bear. Despite everything she has been through, Billie is the sweetest, most gentle, well behaved, very best girl. She is loved and adored by her human and doggie family.
