A little about me...
Piper is a rescue that we adopted from Homewardbound Animal Rescue - a local rescue that specializes in mama dogs and their puppies. Piper was a mama dog with 9 puppies. Piper was very afraid of people when we adopted her in May 2020. She very quickly stole our hearts. Piper is still cautious around people but has mad significant strides in her self-confidence over the last six months. She greets us at the door with "hugs" whenever we come home and believes that she is a lap dog despite being 46 pounds. Piper is incredibly smart, although somewhat mischievous, learning at least 16 commands in the first month after we adopted her. Piper has changed our lives for the better!
