After I unexpectedly lost my 13 and 11 year old Bengals within 3 months of each other, I was absolutely heartbroken as I had them since their birth. A few months after that, this 10 week old Mabel came into my life. Unfortunately, when I got her she was very sick and needed lots of care. The vets did not think she would make it, but I was not giving up on her! I emptied my savings account to defy the odds, and it paid off because she is now the most affectionate, loving, healthy 4 year old little girl in the world! She is my buddy through thick & thin and I thank God every day for bringing her into my life and helping her through her illness.

She is very attached to me because I had to bottle feed her and give her subcutaneous fluids while helping her to heal at a very young age. She follows me everywhere I go. Some people say she thinks she is a person, but I think she just sees me as a big cat! Not a day goes by that I don’t kiss her little forehead and tell her I love her.
