I fell in love with Speedy at the Catio when picking up the fosters I was keeping during their renovation. While all other cats were hiding, he climbed on top of one of the carriers of my fosters and looked at me as if asking. "Are you taking me home too?"
I didn't that day, but at the end of fostering I had not forgotten him and inquired about Speedy (though I couldn't imagine him not being a foster fail). Thankfully, he was still available and I started the adoption process immediately. He's the most loving, friendly cat I've ever had and every bit the love I expected the day I first met him.
