Spur is high energy like most Jack Russell's (JR) operates in fifth gear. He never seems to tire still finding another gear even after we have called it a long day. He is extremely intelligent, fearless, vocal, and loves to run. Being a hunt-driven dog, Spur pursues most creatures he encounters.

We see curious behavior and an adventurer trait in our Spur. The JR breed is well known as a working terrier, originally bred to bolt fox from their dens during hunts, they are used on numerous ground-dwelling quarry such as groundhog, badger, and red and grey fox. We have had three Jack Russell Terriers over the years and simply adore and recommend the breed. They are a loving part of our family!
