When our rescue kitten was still tiny he had an eye which did not fully develop leaving it to look like an eye patch. We named him Captain Jack (Sparrow) after the pirate. We thought his mysterious black eye gleaming in the sun (and a bit scary at night), made him look like he could live on a ship flying the cross bones and skull of the flying Dutchman or Black Pearl. But in reality Jack is a typical Tabby, playful, kind, loves catnip, salmon flavored treats, and taking long naps.
