“Dog Day in the Park” is an annual fall fun fundraiser usually hosted in late September or October at the Kelly Park upper pavilion. Hosted by and benefiting the McCook Humane Society, Dog Days is a fun filled awareness day with the goal of promoting responsible pet ownership.

The afternoon includes: carnival games, prizes, drawing giveaways, activities, vendors and pet treats! Lunch is served from 11:30am until 1:00pm by McCook Boy Scouts Troop #147 with food donations provided by Willow Creek Meats, Walmart & Pepsi.
