Pet personality / Story of adoption / Why is your pet special?Dilly was originally Gilly, purchased by a single mom who had to move to a pet free apartment after a setback. Her Shi-chi puppy was 6 months old, as our terrier was 16 years old and not doing well we were given first chance for the Shitzu-chihuahua mix and gladly accepted. She loves exploring, chasing bugs, and sneaking random sticks into the house, as caught in the act here. She is very rambunctious and playful. She loves being chased around the house playing keep away with her toys or chasing one she has brought you to throw. If you are not awake when she is ready to start the day expect to get kissed awake with licks and nose nibbles.
Dilly is special because I have never seen a dog that loves children as much as she does. She has been around children her entire life, and not always carried about by them in the gentlest fashion. She always accepts being ferried off legs dangling, often giving kisses as she travels. (We do intervene that she should be handled better, so then she is typically flipped over and carried like a baby, all the easier to give kisses).
She has an underbite, and an epidermal cyst on her right eye (that grew back after attempted removal during her spaying) but still is one of the cutest dogs you will meet. She does not let either of these hold her back. She is a cute little fluff ball of energy, flaws and all.
