Miss Blaze was rescued as a baby kitty from the streets of Haigler. Now 10 years old, she was one of the first to become a 'member of the club' of the Haigler Street Cat Assistance Program (SCAP) in Haigler, Nebraska. The Haigler SCAP is modeled after like programs that live trap, neuter or spay, and return kitties to volunteers and/or adoption homes in the area. Working with local Twin Forks Veterinary Clinic, the program was initiated by Stan Carlock of Haigler and has now successfully had over 100 street kitties in the program. Miss Blaze is very special --was rescued and adopted by the Carlocks in Haigler.
