A little about me...
Our Fajita is a cute and devoted Chihuahua, she is lively, alert, loud courageous, quick and most definitely not afraid to tell you she has arrived. She likes attention and is extremely loyal. Even though most Chihuahua’s are considered lap dogs, Fajita is quite active and likes to be kept occupied and prefers to run along next to us verses being held.

We adopted Fajita because our living space is very small and Chihuahuas are the smallest breed of dog (named after the Mexican state of Chihuahua). However we did not know how popular this dog breed was when we adopted Fajita. According to the American Kennel Association the Chihuahua is the 4th-most popular dog breed by registrations worldwide - WOW, we did not know that!

This studio photo was generously shared with our shelter pet photo contest by professional photographer and friend of the Cat Pack by Maren Sater. Animal rescue and welfare are causes Maren cares deeply about and she has been involved in supporting shelters for 15+ years. She is an artist member of HeARTs Speak, and dedicated to providing photography services aimed at ensuring no shelter pet goes unseen. Maren is a regular adoption photographer at Foothills Animal Rescue in Scottsdale, AZ and supports other rescue causes with her heart and creative talents like our very own McCook Cat Pack youth project.
