A little about me...
Rudolph is a typical tabby in many ways but is especially social, warm and a love bug. He likes sitting with someone indoors pretty much always. If one of us is reading or watching a movie in a living room or study chair (or couch) he is there snuggling and sleeping. When he is outside he is always chasing something and running and jumping around.

Although this is a summer/fall picture, we actually rescued Rudolph during one of our coldest winters. We had no clue how he got out on the side of the road all alone freezing and shivering in the chilling cold during this dreadful frigid ice storm. We believed (still believe) that holiday year Rudolph was a special gift delivered to us from Santa Claus to warm our home.

This image was contributed by professional animal photographer Cindy Garcia. Her ability to snap moments of dogs, cats, and horses makes it in to calendars in the US and UK each year. Her images have been purchased by large companies for pet greeting cards like Avanti cards. Her contributions have been a part of every McCook Humane Society calendar beginning w/the first shelter calendar in 2012-13. We appreciate her animal shelter commitment to tell cat and dog stories through her images of successful shelter adoption and rescue.
