Mr. Snuggles was adopted by our family from an ad online showing him and his sibling covered in dirt and grime. This was around Christmas time and I'll never forget the look on my family's faces when they came home and found him under the tree. He was very shy at first and hesitant to allow anyone to touch or play with him. Then my daughter was born, and he immediately made a connection with her and I would often find them napping, swinging, cuddling and playing together.
Nowadays not much has changed. He may only weigh about 2 1/2 pounds, but this little guy has a huge heart and would do anything for the love of his girl. I have never seen a dog so eager, tolerant and happy to play with a child. She is his human, and they absolutely adore each other. It was very hard to pick a photo from all the cuddle pictures and napping in her carseat with her. Mr. Snuggles enjoys long naps and exploration trips with his human, tattling on her to mom, defending her from flowers and strange toys, car rides, chasing neighborhood cats to the edge of our yard, ninja-sneaking after his human, fetching her toys, and sharing animal crackers. This picture is one of my favorites of them literally dancing around the living room together. 💖 He has a spunky and curious personality, but if he's with his human he watches out for her every second to keep her safe, and she rewards him with animal crackers for his loyal friendship. 😍
