Zeba was so nervous when we would leave her and go to work, she chewed up a lot of stuff, shoes, furniture, window sill etc. We thought if she had a companion perhaps she would settle down so we went to the Humane Society and adopted Skeeter. We had adopted a pup 15 years ago who was such a good dog and we really wanted another "good" dog and Zeba just wasn't fitting the bill. When Zeba saw Skeeter she loved him at first sight. They are about the same age and play and play together we have no problems with Zeba chewing things up and I think Skeeter has brought out the best in Zeba, we think of him as her "service animal". Now Skeeter has an affinity for hats, you can't leave them where he can get them but he is such a good loving dog and has made Zeba into a good loving dog too. We love our dogs and couldn't imagine life without them.
