Darlin' was brought into the Cattery by a Good Samaritan who had found her on the highway and said she had possibly been hit by a car. An employee of the shelter made the last minute decision to foster Darlin'. It was discovered that she had a completely broken left hip, and torn ligaments in her right leg, and was diabetic and in kidney failure. With the condition she was in it was advised that euthanasia be thought about. After lots of crying her foster mommy decided that she could not put her down because she was still putting up a fight to live. Darlin' is now out of kidney failure, not diabetic, can run and jump, is very chunky and spoiled and loved so much by her foster mommy that adopted her.
