Your Pet's Story or Bio
Mimi was a stray that my son brought home in 1992. He appeared to be about 6 to 8 months old. We immediately fell in love with him. We thought he was a female and named him Mimi. When we took him to the vet to have her fixed we found out that Mimi was a male cat and had already been fixed. We believe that Mimi is a coon cat. He weighs about 18 lbs. He became very ill three years ago and was diagnosed to have developed diabetes. He has been on insulin everyday since receiving a shot each morning and evening. He is doing well although he sleeps a lot but is very happy to have my wife and I to care for him. He is the oldest cat that we have ever had. We hope he is with us for many more years.
