Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Unforgettable"?
Charlie rescued me 3-1/2 years ago when he was only 1. He is special because being with him is such a joy that he reminds me to be grateful for every single day!
What is unforgettable about Charlie is that he is super smart and an extremely excellent communicator. His skills are unbelievable. He understands about 100 or more words. He shows you which way he wants to walk, exactly what he wants at a given time and so much more all without uttering a sound! He tells me exactly what he wants to do and is always gentlemanly and polite. Never brash or loud. It really is like having a conversation with a person.
And oh, those eyes! Just one look into his eyes will tell you how very, very special he is! He is the best boyfriend ever!
I found him when I had heard stories about how he was being mistreated in an abusive home. He was just a young boy. I investigated and made arrangements to take him home. He was afraid to get in the car because he had nothing but bad experiences going in the car. Apparently they would take him in the car and leave him with anyone. When I went to pick him up, he was so scared that I needed towels to absorb all the drool.
Since I adopted him, Charlie has become open to doing everything with me. Whether it's walking 4 miles, sleeping in my lap or going for a car ride (which he now loves!) As a King Charles Cavalier, he is considered large for his breed; however, he prefers to play with small cat toys. His favorite is a fish.
He is a great guy. And oh, those eyes!
