Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Unforgettable"?
After losing their beloved 11-year-old lab, it took Staci and her family a couple of years to consider opening their home and hearts to another dog. Having always had pets themselves, Staci and her husband wanted their sons to have the amazing experience of growing up with a dog.

They had been discussing it for about 6 months when one Saturday, they were driving through their neighborhood and saw a sign, both literal and figurative, advertising an adoption event at a local pet store. The family went to the pet store, fell in love with Georgia, and adopted her the very next day!

Georgia’s life is now one of an adored member of a family, a far cry from the life she was rescued from at a high-kill shelter down South. Staci describes Georgia as a people-loving, friendly, and sweet dog who wants nothing more than to be with her family.

When in the house, Georgia loves to snuggle with her family and even sleeps with them at night. But she’s also an outdoorsy dog, enjoying long walks and in particular, going on trips to the Poconos where she becomes an adventure dog while hiking with her family.

At any social gathering, Georgia becomes the center of attention and always manages to secure some much-loved belly rubs. The bond Georgia has with Staci’s sons couldn’t be closer and has made them total animal lovers.

Staci is grateful for the impact Georgia has had on her family for the last 10 years; without her, their lives felt incomplete.
