Your Dog's Story or Bio
Galgos are used for hunting in Spain and are often abandoned or killed at the end of hunting season. Frida was rescued from the streets of Spain in 2021 at approximately two years old. She now lives happily in St Catharines with her family.
Frida’s favourite things are napping and playing with her dog friends. She loves a good game of “chase me!” She also enjoys visiting the wineries and shops of Niagara.
Like greyhounds, galgos are very, very fast when they run, but they are also relaxed and low maintenance. With their calm demeanor and gentle temperament, they make wonderful pets.
