What makes me special
Hi I'm Shortcake, Crumbles older sister! I was also a stray found looking for food in the bins of a pub. The vet said I was about 18 months old and very under weight. My nails were so long I couldnt walk! Anyway that all happened in 2010 so I dont really remember any of it now thank goodness. Although my mum does like to remind me how grateful I should be for being given a lovely home especially after my 4th tiddle of the day on our new rug!!! Well I am 14-15 years old - what does she expect!!! Like Crumble I was taken to the Ark. To begin with I had to be fed small amounts of food because I was so thin and gradually it was built up until I was a decent weight. I was also shaved because I was matted and full of fleas!!! Boy did I itch!!! The staff called me Shortcake because they said I was very cute and good enough to eat!! I eventually found my new home and have spent many happy years. Im getting old now but still enjoy life although the stairs are getting difficult. I love my walks and like Crumble off to the Cotswolds soon for some family time. Although if Crumble thinks shes hogging that doggy buggy all the time shes got another thing coming!! Thanks for reading my story!!!
