Gatsby is the greatest! He isn’t necessarily a rescue, but the original owner couldn’t take care of him anymore and gave him to me, and he has been the very best companion ever since! He loves belly scratches and barking at squirrels through the sliding glass door. He is a dachshund with a dapple coat and is a very dapper sir! He is very affectionate and loves our ten month old baby boy!
Gatsby once attended a german beer festival with me and was very glad that the many patrons there were clumsy with their beers, spilling them on the ground right at his level. Daschunds and beer go together like sausage and schnitzel!
