Penny recently turned 10, and we finally took her to the beach for the first time. Big mistake. Huge. From the moment her paws hit the sand, she looked at us like we’d personally ruined her entire decade. The waves? Too loud. The wind? Offensive. The sand? A gritty betrayal. Penny made it clear she’d rather be back home, curled up in her favorite nap spot, keeping an eye on the neighbors like the neighborhood watch captain she believes she is.
