Pet's Story or Bio
A friend sent me a photo of Gertie right after her rescue. She was skinny and bony. I fell in love with her. Drove to Kansas City to where she was being fostered and adopted her. She ruled our home. I loved her so much. Unfortunately, she had unusual heart issues and passed away earlier this year. I was able to love her for 3 years. She was unbelievably special Even her vet called her his "Miracle Doxie". The clinic made a donation to KU's Veterinary School in her name. I will never stop missing her.
