Pet’s rescue story in 500 words or less
Bailey girl came to us from a rescue adoption event. She was previously taken from a kill shelter with her 5 other siblings. All were emaciated and terrified but she had the kindest eyes. We adopted her and for two weeks didn’t move from a spot unless we picked her up and physically moved her. She was scared of people but slowly won her trust. She hated trash bags and trash cans so we can only imagine what this puppy went through prior to being found. Now she is our loyal, sweet baby who snuggles and loves unconditionally. She is great with other animals and teaches them confidence and play while showing them proper manners and great skills of finding lizards and squirrels to stare at. While she remains timid of strangers, this gorgeous mutt will alarm us whenever they are nearby and loves to greet the mailpeople with “boofs” (barks) of joy. She enjoys long hikes and running with her mama. Has even tried paddle boarding and lure chases! She has one sister currently who was brought into the family to help Bailey build confidence initially and how to be a pup. Now she returns the favor to others being fostered by showing kisses loyalty. We love this sweet baby girl and her multiple breed personalities.
