Rules

This contest opens Sunday, January 10 at 8 am (EDT) and closes at 8pm (EDT) Monday, February 1.

Entry fee is $10 per photo. Photos of basset hounds and basset hound mixes are accepted. Photos may not include people. Your photo entry does not have to be of a Tri-State rescue. We love all basset hounds and welcome entries from all basset hound owners.

You may enter as many photos as you like.

All photos must be uploaded. Sorry, we cannot accept hard copies.

Each vote requires a donation of $1.00 and individuals may vote as many times and as often as they choose during the contest.

The photo receiving the most votes by 8pm on February 1 will be declared 2021's Hottest Hound and will receive the grand prize package.

Photos receiving the second and third highest number of votes will receive runner-up packages.

Winner is responsible for contacting artist Alyssa Owens-Brazier to make arrangements for the custom portrait.

All proceeds from this contest go directly to the costs involved in rescuing and the care of basset hounds and basset hound mixes.

Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible. All donations are non-refundable.
