Pictured is Gracelyn, a pretty female black and tan German shepherd, around four months old. Gracelyn and her raiser spend the summers at the New Jersey shore and this lucky pup spent lots of time there when she was little. This photo was taken one afternoon while she was lying in the sand. The cool sand is shaded from the lounger behind her. It was exactly where she wanted to be on that hot summer day. The photo shows Gracelyn in sharp focus while the background is blurry. There is sand on her nose and snout from burying it in the sand. Her soft amber eyes are looking to the left, but she appears to be too tired to move her head in that direction.
