I adopted Stiles from Atlanta Pet Rescue after having taken two years to get over the loss of my last pup, Fugee, who was put to sleep at 14 years old due to cancer in his jaw. I had Fugee since I was 13. He went with me to college and was there for every major stepping stone in my life. I never imagined I could love another dog as much as I loved him. But then I saw Stiles grubby little face on the shelter website and I knew, he was the one. Adopting Stiles was one of the best decisions I ever made. He was found wandering the streets, so I know nothing about his past, but he has turned out to be my perfect match. He is my furry little soul mate. This August will be three years together and I can't even remember what my life was like before he came into it. Adopting is the best gift you can give....to yourself, and to the life you save.
