We went into a local pet store for a cat toy and came home with a three-legged dog named Pearl. The rescue shelter told us that her previous owner shot her and her leg could not be reattached. She was adopted twice before, but both families brought her back, through no fault of her own. How lucky for us! She is sweet, kind, and loving to everyone she meets. We couldn't be happier to have her in our family!!!
