Lulu was adopted from GBHS at 6 mos old. She is a lab mix with a curly tail who is full of energy and love. Her favorite things to do include swimming at the lake, playing chase, tug-of-war, fetching the tennis ball in her backyard, and looking out the window at her neighborhood.

We survived the April 2011 tornados together. Understandably she is terrified of everything since then. Everyday is a little bit better though. She has several new gray hairs, but is no longer avoiding going outside. Storms and rain still make her very anxious but her thunder shirt is a wonderful comfort.

She has been by my side through the tough times of college, healing from a tragedy, and missing my grandfather who recently lost his battle to lung cancer. She has been by my side through the celebrations of graduation, moving to a new city, starting my career, getting married, and moving home to be with family including her adopted dog cousins Chloe, Lily, and Luca. I couldn't imagine my life without Lulu!

This is a wonderful organization with a grand plan of building a no kill shelter. I hope you'll donate to vote so hopefully someone else can find their Lulu.
