I found Posh in Downtown Birmingham in bad condition. She was about 4-6 weeks old and very malnourished, covered in scabs, and sitting in ants. I knew when I saw her, she was going to be mine. I don't know why, but I'm more drawn to the animals who have had it rough and don't know what it's like to feel love. I wanted her to have a great life, and I made sure it was going to happen.

Posh is my best friend. No matter how down I feel, Posh can always make me laugh. She's the sweetest, most selfless, hilarious, and loyal dog I've ever known. It is truly an honor to be a part of her life. I know it may sound dumb, but Posh is like my child. I don't know how any animal can bring so much joy into a person's life, but it is very possible; Posh is living proof of that. Posh was born to love. I've never seen her show a single bit of anger towards anyone. She's a 60 pound bundle of shedding fur who knows exactly how to get what she wants just by being an angel. And yes, she does sleep with me in my twin sized bed. It's crowded, but definitely worth it.
