'Pete', now 'Van Gogh', was moments away from being euthanized at an Alabama kill shelter in Northern Alabama. Fortunately, he was pulled by a local rescue just in the nick of time. He was underweight and upon being adopted, had food aggression and was a little 'stand-offish' to his brothers in his new home. After awhile, he realized food was abundant and the other dogs in this new environment were family, his demeanor changed and he is the happiest, most loving carefree pup in our home. His new name is Van Gogh and we are so blessed to have this big lapdog in our family.
