After our 10 year old lab mix Allie died of cancer, we were trying to figure out if we wanted another dog. The loss of Allie was devastating. My husband couldn't imagine having loving another dog but I couldn't imagine NOT loving and having another dog in our house. So we searched and found Peyton, or maybe she found us), a Golden Retriever born in Alabama. She is not the docile, couch potato Golden Retriever you'd expect. She's like the "Marley" of Golden Retrievers, crazy and wild, and that suits us just fine.
