I had the pleasure of observing a nest of 3 Great Horned Owlets over a two-week period. As the nest was quite high in a tree, in an abandoned Osprey nest, the owlets were visible from the ground when they were awake and active. This one was the first to fledge and was perched alone on a lower branch in an adjacent tree with the parents watching from a distance.
