Insight about the shot or species
I was enjoying a walk at Edith L. Moore nature sanctuary and had the privilege to run into this juvenile barred owl. Then the mommy owl followed soon after. The baby owl's eyes pierced my mind as we were at the same elevation as it clung to the side of a small tree. One of my favorite birding finds. Barred Owls prefer mature forests with abundance of prey and tree hollows. The little ones do not stumble to far in their early weeks.
