Favorite Husky Activity
Going to the dog park and hanging out with my other dog friends. Chasing the other members of my pack in the back yard. Greeting new fosters. I have never met a dog I didn’t like.

Pet's Story or Bio
Cherokee came from the puppy mill bust in 2009 that started Texas Husky Rescue. His brothers and sisters were a part of all of the early Texas Husky Rescue events. I took him as a foster because he was the last one left at the Collin County Animal Shelter when the rest of his family had gone on to foster homes or had been adopted out. He was frightened when I brought him home to my pack and actually barked all the way home. My Border Collie, Cody bonded with him immediately and those two were bonded for life. More than 10 years later he is now the senior member of my pack and spends his time with my other dogs Rocky and Mac.
