Pet's Story or Bio
Kami was picked up by animal control in Collin County about a decade ago where she was found roaming around a hardware store parking lot. We decided to foster her after retrieving her for TxHR from the local pound. At over a year in age but only 27 pounds in weight, her 'street diet' hadn't sustained her very well but she quickly adapted to our household thanks to her big husky brother Fargo, who welcomed her into our pack. Several weeks afterwards I found her literally sleeping on him and at that point we decided she had to join us forever. Along with her brother, she's been our constant companion on our annual Colorado trips where she earned her 'Kolorado Kam' nickname. Currently she's our only dog (after losing Fargo this year) and we're grateful that we have her!
