Pet's Story
Finnley is a registered emotional support animal but is a therapy dog for everyone. He has an intuitive gift to go to people who may be hurting or lonely. For example, we were at the dog park and he would not leave the side of a woman who was keeping to herself. He sat in her lap for an hour while she pet him instead of playing with the other dogs. She later told me she has fibromyalgia and it was a bad day. She said Finnley must have known because he made her smile for the first time in a week.
He has a way of making everyone he comes into contact with smile or laugh. His facial expressions are human like and his “side eye” look is spot on. He has made family and friends burst out laughing from his personality. Every day, I am thankful for my little therapy dog. He is 18 lbs. of pure love.
