Pet's Story
Cammy is a black-mouth cur mix who was rescued as a puppy from an animal shelter in Durham, North Carolina back in 2012. She is a nature enthusiast with the kindest and gentlest soul. She loves children, spending the summers with her grandparents in the Colorado Rockies, cuddling, hiking, chipmunk hunting, seafood, basking in the sun, and going everywhere and anywhere with her momma and extended family. She brings so much joy to our family and everyone she meets. Sadly, she lost her beloved brother in 2020 (as if the COVID pandemic wasn't enough) and was diagnosed and treated for mast cell cancer in 2021. Despite these tragedies, she has continued to share with us her incredible zest for life and love and compassion for humans, both young and old. We are blessed to call Cammy part of our family!
