Pet's Story
As a puppy, Blue was hit by a car October 21, 2021 on highway 30. A kind woman named Lety saw him and stopped on a busy highway to scoop up his lifeless body and used her own savings to find a vet that would save his legs. After a brutal 2 part surgery in Granbury, his foster mom Karen nursed him back to health. My husband Kevin fell in love with his story at the daycare where he saw a flyer and brought him home to us. He has been excelling in physical therapy and swimming since and his favorite thing is to chase a ball, which he never would have been able to do a short year ago. He is joy of my life, and his resilience and spirit keep me hopeful and humble for what life has in store for all of us. This picture is his first trip to the beach!
