Pet's Story
Our critter crew is made of 3 Catahoula Leopard dogs. Catahoula's are the state dog of Louisiana, but these pups think they are the rulers of any kingdom they are in.
Annabelle is the big sister, she just turned 6 years old, and is our black/blue leopard. She is truly the ruler of the pack. Remy is the troubled middle child, he is 4 years old, but bounces between the attitude of a wise old man and an energetic pup. He's a solid slate color with some brindle markings and eyes that hint at blue in the sunlight. And then there is Gynger, our 1 year old baby that is a true spit-fire. She is a red leopard with blue and amber eyes, and she is the smartest living thing in any room she enters - at least that's what she'll tell you!
Catahoula's are bred for hunting wild boar and bear, their webbed feet make them great at navigating the swamps of the deep south. But the most work these three put in is hunting for treats and herding children to keep them on the playground. They each have their own personality, but they agree on one thing: they love children!
