Pet's Story
We moved into our house in May of 2020 and noticed a strong- willed, independent, nonconforming cat lurking in yard. After feeding the cat for several months she quickly became a permanent member of our household. Dottie enjoys eating multiple times a day, jumping up on our bed and sofa, scratching our furniture and stalking prey in the neighborhood. Dottie is a true a blessing and constant source of surprise and intrigue. Her sheer beauty cannot by matched by any other animal, wild or domesticated. She is an inspiration. Dottie serves as a frequent reminder that one should aspire to be as much of an alley cat in life as a house cat. Her duality is that of a wild, spirit animal that goes where she pleases and hunts for sport combined with a refined, creature of comfort with impeccable hygiene. I look deep into her eyes….is that myself I see?
