Pet's Story
Binx is a Maine Coon kitten. This is the largest domestic cat breed and is also often rated as the friendliest cat breed. After losing my spouse during the pandemic, I rescued a kitten who tragically needed to be put down months later due becoming very ill with feline leukemia, a condition we didn't know he had at adoption. My 2 young children and I were heart broken, again. Hoping to avoid tragedy yet again, we adopted Binx from a reliable MC breeder.
Binx has healed our hearts with his furry cuddles, playful energy and strong motor (purring). Binx is also sensitive to our ailments, being there when we need his loving presence. My 10 year old was recently sick, laying in his dark bedroom due to headaches. Binx would lay beside him, purring, kneading his paws on my son. It was very comforting.
Maine Coons grow at fantastic rates. He's bigger than many full grown domestic cats yet has much more growing to go. We anticipate that Binx will grow to be at least 25lb. He is currently weighing 15lb, just shy of 8 months old.
My favorite animal is the Lynx. And a favorite family movie is Hocus Pocus. It was fitting to name our gorgeous black cat, Binx.
