Pet's Story
I got Poppy when she was 4 months old and not too long after my Dad had passed away. When I got her I realized that her birthday is the day before my Dad's was in August. I wanted to honor my Dad in someway while naming her, so I looked up what the flower was for the month of August and it is a Poppy! One of the symbols of a Poppy flower for many cultures is peace in death and a consolation for a loss or death in the family. It felt like a sign so Poppy it was! I felt like she was meant to be a part of my family. She is the sweetest, most loving, playful, silly, snack loving, 80 pound good girl! I truly believe she was sent from above. <3
She has been my little (big) savior through it all. :)
