Joey seemed to come into our lives by chance, or so we believed. He joined our family about a year before we lost his doggie brother, who was also my daughter's best friend. It soon became evident that Joey was sent to us to mend her broken heart. He is a small dog with a huge heart, a true healer of hearts, and everyone's "friend".
