Pet's Story
Artemis is not just any dog; she's a bundle of love and joy who came into our lives just when we needed her most. Adopted as a puppy from our local rescue, she traveled all the way from Louisiana with her siblings to find her forever home.

Born on St. Patrick's Day, Artemis shares a birthday with her momma, making her my ultimate good luck charm. She's a pit bull mastiff mix with a heart as big as her paws and a personality that lights up the room. Raised by her three cat siblings, Artemis has embraced her inner lap cat, often curling up on our laps for cuddles and affection.

Artemis loves long walks in the woods, where she can explore and enjoy nature. However, she's quite scared of loud noises and thunderstorms, often seeking comfort during those times. She charges a cheese tax for cuddles, making sure she gets her favorite treat before settling in for some snuggle time. Known as a blanket thief, she has a knack for stealing the coziest spots. Her happy noise is unique, sounding like a deflating bagpipe, which always brings a smile to our faces.

With her zoomies and wild noises, Artemis keeps us safe from passing bicycles and squirrels, ensuring our home is always protected. Her playful spirit, gentle nature, and unique background make her a standout in any crowd. Artemis is more than a pet; she's a cherished member of our family and a testament to the joy that rescue animals bring into our lives.
