Pet's Story
This is Milo, a wooly husky.
He is Taz, Jim Carrey and Goofy intertwined. Everything he does is with a smile. Always up to something and usually no good. He drives us crazy but in a 'you just cant get angry with him' kind of way.
He is also very kind, intuitive, gentle and carries his heart on his paw. He shows up in the best of ways- if you've been sitting for too long, if you seem overwhelmed, stressed, or happy- he shows up for you. Always. He does this thing where he just comes up to you, leans and allows you to be vulnerable in an attempt to hold space for you.
He doesn't speak, which I always thought was weird for a husky, but he will pounce and huff at you to let you know he's silently judging you. If you get an eye roll with a side of a long sigh- oh man.

Milo is a rescue.
We brought him home from a breeder who had a previous buyer return Milo because he had unknown tummy issues at 4 months old. Those tummy issues? Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD). Took us some time to figure it out. Multiple ED visits, a feeding tube, you name it. And Milo? Smiling all the way through it. He's a trooper. He cant have any proteins, so he's a vegan, and thriving. On occasion he'll steal your brisket slices or maneuver himself over the motion activated trashcan lid to go meal surfing but can you blame him? Its almost like he knows the risk- but he's made the decision that its worth it.

He's a one-of-a-kind, otherworldly kind of pup and I wouldn't trade him and his quirks for anything (ask me again in a month).
