Pet's Story
Henry Kim is my K-Pop star from South Korea. I adopted him during the pandemic when US shelters were empty, with the help of the Seattle Beagle Rescue. Henry Kim's very pregnant mom was found roaming the countryside. Thankfully, she found her way to a retired farmer who now runs a rescue. Henry Kim, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters were all born in the rescue and have all found their way to Portland or Seattle. We try to have a family reunion at least once a year!

I call Henry Kim my K-Pop star because of the black coloring around his eyes that looks like permanent eye liner. He's always striking a pose! Henry Kim also knows Korean and will respond to "yes, no, outside, and hello" - despite my bad Korean pronounciation! If anyone is a K-drama fan, you will know there is a distinctive electronic door keypad lock sound. Anytime Henry Kim hears this, he immediately jumps up and runs to the front door!

Pet's Favorite Thing To Do
Sunbathe! When the sun is out....cold or warm....he loves to stretch out on the patio and soak up some rays!
