Pet's Story
Blues Brothers - Canine Style.
Mozart "Elwood Blues", Brahms "Joliet Jake Blues" and Sister Mary "Symphony"/Stigmata

Mozart joined my family in July 2020, after my previous dog passed away earlier that year. Like the many "pandemic puppies", he kept me from going stir-crazy during the long months of lock down and also gave me good study breaks when I started grad school in Sept 2020.
Symphony joined us in October 2022, when I transitioned to working at home full time and realized that young Mozart needed a playmate. Symphony has been blind from birth and was looking for a home. The dog training school suggested I consider adopting her as she needed a home where she wouldn't be alone, would have a equally-sized buddy who wouldn't mind getting run into, sat on, etc.. A house with no stairs was also a plus for her safety. Symphony liked me right away, which the training staff found to be a delightful surprise, and with a little help, she and Mozart formed a good bond.
Brahms is Mozart's "half-brother". They have the same sire, but different moms. I added Brahms to the family because I realized that Symphony would almost certainly outlive Mozart and I wasn't sure I would be able to find her another buddy with the right temperament. Symphony loved Brahms right off and the two were quite the bonded pair for a while. Symphony treated puppy Brahms much like her own puppy, occasionally growling when Mozart got too close! It was so sweet.
Now this crew is a complete pack. Symphony, believe it or not, is the alpha of the pack and she lets her brothers know it! While they love to engage in 3-way tug-o-war, Symphony almost always wins. And if she senses one of the boys has a toy she wants, they almost always let her take it, sometimes right out of their mouths. They enjoy zoomies and fetch in their new larger back yard, and make sure to alert me whenever someone (human, cat, possum, squirrel) is nearby. Who needs a doorbell?
They do love, more or less, to dress up for the annual Halloween Costume Contest at the dog training school. This is their nod to the classic film- The Blues Brothers. A must-see if you are not familiar with it!

Pet's Best Personality Trait
Mozart - princely and watchful ; Symphony - goofy and cuddly; Brahms - playful and sneaky
