Mira is the ultimate underdog success story! She is the most sensitive, laid-back dog you'll ever meet. A very gentle soul. Her last 5 months have been very challenging for her. In November she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in her nasal cavity. Prognosis was two months if we did nothing. The following week she started and finished intensive radiation treatments without missing a beat! Two days after her last radiation treatment she tore her ACL and had to have surgery. Three days after she tore her ACL, she lost her best friend, our 12 year old boxer rescue, Watson. Although she still grieves her Wasty Bear sometimes, she has bounced back like a true champion! Stronger and as active as ever and still begging for food and daily walks! She is the definition of underdog! (The rainbow on her nose came from our window prism! Perfect placement!)
