To be completely honest, I know there are going to be dogs with stories that are more deserving of this title than Maggie. But look at that face!

Maggie was born at the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. A very nice family in The Plains took her in, but they quickly realized she was too much for them. We took Maggie in late May 2020. We quickly discovered why she was too much -- SO MUCH ENERGY and happy tail syndrome. Maggie's a true Appalachian All Breed. We've seen quite a few dogs around town who could be kin. We hope to see some of them in this contest!
